As a click-bait hater, I know that writing has an innate value to connect people in an honest, engaging way. Writing magazine and blog content gives me the confidence to share my ideas and help others’ stories be told in the way they were meant to. I’ve covered a variety of topics ranging from how to make pumpkin cookies to how a Fulbright scholar from Poland landed in Michigan.
The most important aspects about writing are the collaboration it takes to get a clear message out to the world, as well as empathetically considering the audience at all times. None of these pieces would be possible without the help of multiple editors and advice-givers.
*In addition to these selected samples, I have a few pieces that have not been published for public audiences. For more samples of my writing, email me at alligbertram@gmail.com.
